Why does the freezer have a full of ice cream?
If you notice your freezer is full of ice cream, you may have a problem. If you only have a few frozen treats, you can probably figure out the answer. Maybe you went on a shopping spree and bought a ton of ice cream. Maybe you had a party and everyone brought over their favorite sweet treats. Maybe someone is trying to tell you something. If you really have a ton of ice cream, it’s time to start eating it.
If you don’t want to eat every slice of pizza, every pint of ice cream, and every slice of cake in the house, you need to start thinking about how to get rid of the ice cream. It’s time to let go of the ice cream you’re holding onto. You may be able to donate it to a food pantry or soup kitchen. If not, you can always just throw it away.
If you’re not ready to get rid of the ice cream, you can always freeze it.
How to get rid of all the ice cream in the freezer?
An easy way to clear out all the excess ice cream in your freezer is to use your ice cream scooper to scoop out the hardened ice cream from the container. Once you have all the ice cream in your scooper, place it in a sealable baggie and put it back in the freezer.
Here is a more scientific approach for getting rid of excess ice cream in the freezer. “The most efficient way to defrost a freezer is to use an ice bath,” says appliance expert Tim Sorenson of Sorenson Appliance Service in Wichita, Kansas. “You’ll need a towel, some ice, and a big tub or bucket large enough to hold the freezer’s contents.” Here’s how to do it.

BLUEBERRY CRUMBLE
HOW TO MAKE IT
Combine blueberries, sugar and water in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 8-10 minutes until the mixture thickens.
Divide blueberries into small bowls. Spoon a bit of crushed cookies on top. Add a scoop of ice cream and enjoy!
Place Oreo cookies into a freezer bag. Crush with a rolling pin until the cookies are finely crushed.
Place crushed Oreo cookies in a bowl. Add melted butter and stir to combine. Transfer to a 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread the Oreo cookie mixture in an even layer on the bottom of the baking dish. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese with a hand mixer until smooth. Add powdered sugar, vanilla and salt. Beat to combine. Drizzle in heavy cream and beat until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.
